Two kinds of proof, always side by side
A ledger record proves that money moved. Only a person standing at a borehole can prove the borehole flows. Uwazi never shows one without the other.

What the ledger cannot prove
Plenty of projects have claimed a database makes giving trustworthy. Most of them are gone, because a tamper-evident record of a transfer cannot, by itself, prove a school was roofed or a well was drilled. Pretending otherwise is how transparency gets a bad name.
So we say it plainly: Uwazi's machine records prove movement of money. Delivery is proven by people: independent monitors, county officers, community co-signatures, sensors where they exist, and a 12-month return visit. The pairing is the product.
Records are designed to be tamper-evident and independently checkable, including blockchain anchoring. We keep the technology in the footnotes on purpose: proof is the point.
