Water points that still work a year later

Roughly three in ten Kenyans lack basic drinking water services, and in the arid north the figure is far worse. The sector's quiet scandal is not the wells that were never drilled; it is the ones that were drilled, celebrated, photographed and then broke, with nobody funded to fix them.

How we work in water

    Fund Kenyan drilling and repair crews, never fly-in contractors.

    Every water point gets a maintenance plan and budget line before it gets a ribbon cutting.

  • 03

    Verification does not stop at completion: funded projects are re-checked at 12 months, and the check lands on the ledger.
